Orkanger Church (Norwegian: Orkanger kirke) is a parish church in the municipality of Orkdal in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The church is located in the municipal center, Orkanger, near the Trondheimsfjord.[1]
The stone church (originally called Orkedalsorens kirke) was built in 1892, and it was consecrated on 28 April 1892 by the dean, Brodahl. The architect who designed the church was Christian Thams. The church is located in the Orkdal parish which is part of the Orkdal deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros.[2]
